    President & Chief Executive Officer

    Dev joined MongoDB with a unique mix of entrepreneurial, operational and investing experience. Before MongoDB, Dev was a Managing Director at OpenView Venture Partners, and before that he was an investing partner at Greylock Partners. Previously, Dev was the founder/CEO of BladeLogic. He founded the company in 2001, took it public in 2007, and sold it to BMC Software in 2008 for approximately $900M. Dev then served as President of BMC Software, where he directly led a business with $1.4B in annual revenue and 4,000+ employees. Earlier in his career, Dev was founder/CEO of Applica, one of the first venture-backed cloud companies. He merged the business with Breakaway Solutions, and the combined company went public in 1999. Dev began his professional career in the telecom sector developing new broadband businesses. Dev also serves as an advisor and board member to a number of next-generation software companies and private equity firms. Dev received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University, and was recognized by the School of Engineering as its 2010 Alumnus of the Year.

    • Eliot Horowitz

      Chief Technology Officer & Co-Founder

      Eliot Horowitz is the CTO and Co-Founder of MongoDB. He wrote the core code base for MongoDB starting in 2007, and subsequently built the engineering and product teams. Today, Eliot oversees those teams, and continues to drive technology innovations at MongoDB.

      Prior to MongoDB, Eliot co-founded and built ShopWiki, a groundbreaking online retail search engine. He built its technology, it's team, and presided over its private sale in 2010. Before that, Eliot was a software developer in the R&D group at DoubleClick.

      Eliot is on the board of the NY Tech Talent Pipeline. In 2015 was named to the Business Insider “Under 35 and Crushing it” list. He was also recently named to Crain's NY Business 40 Under 40 Class of 2017 list.

      Eliot received a B.S. in Computer Science from Brown University.

      • Dwight Merriman

        Dwight Merriman
        Co-Founder

        Dwight is one of the original authors of MongoDB, the open-source document database. In 1995, he co-founded DoubleClick (acquired by Google for $3.1 billion) and served as Chief Technology Officer for 10 years. Dwight was the architect of the DoubleClick ad serving infrastructure, DART, which serves tens of billions of ads per day. Earlier he was Co-Founder, Chairman, and the original architect of Panther Express (merged with CDNetworks), a content distribution network (CDN) technology. Dwight is also a Co-Founder of, and investor in, Business Insider and Gilt Groupe.

        • Michael Gordon

          Michael Gordon
          Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer

          Michael brought more than 20 years of financial management and business experience to his roles as COO and CFO of MongoDB. Michael has a strong background in finance, strategy and business operations and a track record of helping high growth companies scale successfully. Previously, he was the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Yodle, where he was responsible for the strategic and operational management of all aspects of finance and business operations, business development, reseller programs, corporate development and legal affairs.

          Prior to Yodle, Michael was a Managing Director in the Media and Telecom investment banking group at Merrill Lynch, where he helped raise over $20 billion in capital for clients, including many initial public offerings, and advised clients on over $50 billion in mergers and acquisitions transactions. Prior to Merrill Lynch, Michael worked in brand management at Procter & Gamble. He is on the Board of Directors of Share Our Strength, one of the nation's leading anti-hunger organizations, and is an advisor/board member to entrepreneurial and high growth companies.

          Michael received an A.B. from Harvard College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

            Dan Heasman
            Chief People Officer

            Dan brought more than 20 years of experience of developing people and strengthening company cultures to his role as Chief People Officer. Before joining MongoDB, Dan was a co-founder of The Rise Group, a people development & culture building consulting firm. Prior to The Rise Group, Dan was the Capability and Culture practice leader at ?What IF! Innovation, head of HR at EC&O and worked at Tesco PLC. Dan earned his degree at the University College London.

            • Cedric Pech

              Cedric Pech
              Chief Revenue Officer

              Cedric joined MongoDB with more than 20 years of leadership experience in the software industry, and with a proven track record of building high performance sales organizations. He joined MongoDB first to lead EMEA sales in July 2017 and was promoted to the Chief Revenue Officer role in February 2019. In the time since joining, Cedric has rapidly increased the size of the team, expanded sales into new markets, and implemented a new process to increase sales productivity and drive exceptional growth.

              Prior to MongoDB, he was Senior VP of worldwide sales at Fuze, an enterprise global cloud communications and collaboration software platform, and the VP of sales or EMEA GM for four software companies, including publicly traded companies BladeLogic, BMC software, and BazaarVoice.

              • Andrew Stephens

                Andrew Stephens
                General Counsel

                Andrew joined MongoDB as a seasoned technology executive advising growing technology companies in all aspects of their business. He has extensive in-house and law firm experience, and has helped scale the legal departments for several technology companies. Prior to joining MongoDB, Andrew was the Managing Counsel at LinkedIn where he focused on technology transactions, including negotiating LinkedIn's strategic partnerships and revenue generating contracts. He was the second lawyer hired and guided LinkedIn through its hyper-growth phase and successful IPO. Before LinkedIn, Andrew was the Assistant General Counsel at Logitech after advising them as outside counsel while working at Wilson Sonsini. Andrew started his legal career at Lawson Lundell in Vancouver, Canada.
